Bawnboy

Introduction by Amanda, one of the Bawnboy community organisers

St. Mogue’s College, Bawnboy were delighted to be part of the Cavan Time Machine Initiative. It was a wonderful experience for both the students and senior members in our community.
Students expressed many times how they really enjoyed sitting and chatting to the seniors, listening to their stories, asking questions and learning from them. They really appreciated spending time together, especially since Covid.
Students enjoyed making their creative responses from baking, knitting, drawing and collage, all inspired by their interviews and the senior members.

Amanda led the project alongside Maura Donohoe from St. Mogue’s College and Pamela Brady a local community member.
