Bao: How long have you lived in the area?
Joe: 40 years.

Bao: What’s a fond memory you have of living here?
Joe: Ducks races on Boyne Activities.

Bao: Have you seen this community come back from hard times before?
Joe: Yes.

Bao: What are some things that have helped you through lockdown and what brings you joy?
Joe: My grandchildren. Seeing them grow up etc. They are 18, 17 and 16. They went to Boyne.

Bao: What does community mean to you? What sort of things are you doing now to stay connected to your community and family?
Joe: The Men’s Shed. Nice, pleasant.

Bao: What message do you want to share for yourself and this community in 10 years time?
Joe: Continue to prosper.
