Adam: How long have you lived in your area?
Theresa: 63 years.
Adam: What’s a fond memory you have of living here?
Theresa: Playing with friends.
Adam: Have you seen this community come back from hard times before?
Theresa: Football coming back from hard times, the Depression and at one point this building was very derelict.
Adam: What sort of things are you doing now to stay connected to your community and family and what does community mean to you?
Theresa: To stay connected to community I help with the church alter, meet friends, help at the church day care and the Doohamlet football club. For me family means everything, and my extended family are part of my community.
Adam: What message do you want to leave for yourself and this community in 10 years time?
Theresa: I would love to see more people using all the facilities in Doohamlet and appreciating the work we do in the church, community centre and pitch.
