Lucy: How long have you lived in your area?
Eamon: All my life, 75 years.

Lucy: What’s a fond memory you have of living here?
Eamon: Football- winning the Junior Championship 1974.

Lucy: Have you seen this community come back from hard times before?
Eamon: The football pitch development in 1983 after renting pitches in different areas.

Lucy: What are some things that have helped you through lockdown and what brings you joy?
Eamon: I’ve been kept busy working with my sons on a new building in Doohamlet.

Lucy: What sort of things are you doing now to stay connected to your community and family and what does community mean to you?
Eamon: Through football and working on the developments.

Lucy: What message do you want to leave for yourself and this community in 10 years time?
Eamon: I hope by that time the pitch is fully developed with new stand and park facilities. Hope the B new development is fully paid for (church, hall and field).

Below are some of the images which formed Lucy’s creative response to her conversation with Eamon.
