Mary: How long have you lived in the area?
Carmel: 80 years.

Mary: What’s a fond memory you have of living here?
Carmel: It is the happiest time of my life.

Mary: Have you seen this community come back from hard times before?
Carmel: Yes, definitely.

Mary: What are some things that have helped you through lockdown and what brings you joy?
Carmel: My family.

Mary: What does community mean to you? What sort of things are you doing now to stay connected to your community and family?
Carmel: Community means everything. When I was a child everyone looked out for each other.

Mary: What message do you want to share for yourself and this community in 10 years time?
Carmel: I would like to see the community get people together.
