Katelyn: How long have you lived in your area?
Shelia: 45 years.
Katelyn: Have you seen this community come back from hard times before?
Shelia: There are better lifestyles now for people, more jobs and the community is much more diverse.
Katelyn: What sorts of things are you doing to stay connected to your community and family and what does community mean to you?
Shelia: I love helping the community and I enjoy seeing others getting involved too. I enjoy working in the shop and keeping people provided with food.
Katelyn: What message do you want to leave for yourself and your community in 10 years?
Shelia: Stay safe and look after one another.
Katelyn’s creative response to the interview was to bake some bread to share with Sheila which is pictured below along with a few other images from Madeline’s photo shoot with Sheila.
