Dorothy Hutson

Interviewed by Muireann Doyle / photographer Madeline Mulqueen

Muireann: How long have you lived in the area?
Dorothy: 16 years

Muireann: What’s a fond memory you have of living here?
Dorothy: “I love living here in the summer. Beautiful scenery and so peaceful.”

Muireann: What are some things that have helped you through lockdown and what brings you joy?
Dorothy: Gardening our two acres. Loosing myself in art.

Muireann: What message do you want to leave for yourself and this community in 10 years time?
Dorothy: Feels there is not much community spirit. Houses are too far apart- would like to see more community spirit especially from young people.
