Pippa: How long have you lived in the area?
Bernard: 74 years, All my life on the same road

Pippa: What’s a fond memory you have of living here?
Bernard: Playing cowboys and Indians, reading comics as a child, raising children/grandchildren was a ‘blessing in Enniskerry.’

Pippa: What are some things that have helped you through lockdown and what brings you joy?
Bernard: Hobbies, garden and restoring old cars.

Pippa: What sort of things are you doing now to stay connected to your community and family and what does community mean to you?
Bernard: I stay connected by walking in the community and visiting my children and grandchildren. Community means connecting with others and having friends and family so close.
